What is our return policy?
Our goal is for you to be happy with the item(s) you ordered. Sometimes that requires us to send out a free replacement, but our goal is to ensure you are satisfied with your board!

Can I return my board?
Products that can be returned:
- New/unused products
- Products damaged during transit
- Defective products
- Incorrectly engraved boards due to production error
Products that cannot be returned:
- Products that have come into contact with food (it is a violation of health regulations for us to accept these)
- Used products that have been cut on
- Products that were ordered more than 30 days ago
- Products with no proof of purchase (we store records of every order in our system)
- Incorrectly engraved boards due to customer error
We understand that every circumstance is different, so if you have an issue with your custom cutting board contact us: [email protected]. Gum Creek Boards is not responsible for returned boards that are lost or damaged during transit. We suggest using a shipper that provides tracking information.
Once we receive the return, we will contact you to let you know that the return is processed and your refund is applied.
What is our warranty policy?
We will warranty any product that is damaged during transit, defective products, and engraved boards that have been incorrectly engraved. Please contact us: [email protected]
What to do if my board is damaged/cracked/defective?
If your board is damaged in transit please send an image of the board and damaged package. If the package was in perfect condition but the board was damaged just send a picture of the board.
If your board arrives cracked, please send a picture of the cracked board. If possible, please place a plain white sheet of paper in the crack for a second assessment of the damage.
If you believe your board is defective, please send a picture of the board and defective area.

What is our shipping policy?
We offer a flat rate of $17 and ship via FedEx Ground to the lower 48 states.
How long will it take to receive my board?
There is a 5-business day production lead time, HOWEVER, we do our best to get every order out the same week it’s ordered. Depending on where you are located in the country, it can take up to 5 days to reach its destination so keep that in mind when determining the delivery date. Normally, this would be 2 weeks; at times it could take longer due to seasonal demand or larger orders.
What if my order is damaged in shipping?
In cases where the shipping company damages your order, it is important to take pictures of the boxing and damage to the product. We can help you submit a claim to the shipping company and also work with you to get a replacement out to you ASAP. Our goal is for you to get an amazing product and if it’s a gift we want the person getting it to get it on time and smile! Please see our return policy for more information.
What do I do if I never received my order?
Contact customer support ASAP and we’ll get you taken care of. We need to know within 30 days to be able to submit a claim, so anything outside of this will make it extremely difficult to find your board and get it replaced if necessary.
